Here’s what to expect.

Before Closing Day

You’ll:

  • Sign legal documents
  • Transfer funds (down payment + closing costs)
  • Confirm mortgage details

On Closing Day

Your lawyer will:

  • Transfer ownership
  • Register the property in your name

Once everything is complete… you get the keys!

Final Walkthrough (Sometimes)

Depending on the agreement, you may do a final walkthrough to ensure the home is in expected condition prior to closing day.
